After a two month unplanned break I started back at my NROLFW routine earlier this week. I hadn’t even finished the first stage when I stopped, but this last week has shown me how much strength I have lost by not regularly lifting weights. I’ve had to drop all my weights and my push-up form has suffered. Today was my workout with squats and push-ups, and it was tough. I started with squats and my legs burned for the remainder of the workout.

I’m determined to train through the summer, and not only have increased strength and endurance, but run a 10k later in 2013. I haven’t found a race yet, because honestly I’m not sure if I am going to move for work or not in September, but I won’t let any major life changes stop me from training.
